## Conversion Audit

The Conversion Audit feature analyses all products in a connected Shopify or WooCommerce shop and identifies issues that reduce conversion rates. Results are sorted by severity (critical, medium, low, ok) and include a concrete fix suggestion for each issue. Audits are platform-aware: selecting Amazon applies Amazon-specific rules (title format, bullet-point requirement, pure-white main image), selecting Etsy applies long-tail keyword rules, etc.

**Standard Audit (all plans with shop integration):**

## Platform-Specific Rules

ProductPolish applies different generation and audit rules depending on the selected target platform:

- **Shopify**: Title ≤70 chars, benefit-driven storytelling + HTML bullet specs, square 2048px images
- **Amazon**: Title ≤200 chars front-loaded with keywords, 5 mandatory bullet points (≤500 chars each), main image MUST be pure white RGB 255,255,255, min 1600px
- **eBay**: Title ≤80 chars keyword-front-loaded, item-specifics critical, no special characters in titles
- **Etsy**: Title ≤140 chars with long-tail keywords (Etsy search is keyword-based), first 160 chars of description = search snippet, square thumbnail
- **Otto** (German marketplace): Title ≤100 chars, structured bullet points in German, white background preferred
- **Zalando** (fashion): Brand + product + colour format, material and care instructions mandatory, model shots required
- **Kaufland** (German marketplace): Title ≤120 chars, strictly neutral German — promotional wording is rejected, EAN mandatory, clear silhouette on white main image
- **WooCommerce**: 60-70 char SEO-optimised title, short + long description split, block-friendly HTML
- **Wix**: ≤70 char keyword-relevant title, rich-text benefit description, square clean-background main image
- **Generic**: Fallback — clear 50-80 char title, benefit-driven description, professional images

## REST API

The ProductPolish API allows programmatic generation of complete product content. Available exclusively on the Business plan.

- Base URL: `https://www.productpolish.ai/api/v1`
- Authentication: Bearer token (`Authorization: Bearer pp_live_...`)
- Trigger generation: `POST /api/v1/generate` — accepts `title`, `description`, `language`, `imageUrl`, and optional `platform` (for platform-specific tailoring); returns a `generationId`
- Retrieve result: `GET /api/generation/{id}` — returns `status` (`pending` or `delivered`) and all generated fields
- Generation is asynchronous; typical latency is 2–10 seconds; recommended polling interval: 3 seconds
- Output fields: `seo_title`, `meta_description`, `long_description_html`, `bulletpoints[]`, `tags[]`, `faq[]`, `generated_images[]` (3 image URLs)
- Supported content languages: `de`, `en`, `fr`, `es`, `it`, `nl`, `pl`, `pt`, `tr`, `hr`
- Rate limit: fair use, no hard cap on Business plan
